“I’m never the first one to pull away from a hug, because I don’t know how much that person needs it.”
—Taylor Swift
I want to share a little about who I am today, and then I invite you to join me in the short meditation here.
Most of you know me as a business coach, but I’m also a healer—a Reiki master, pendulum healer, and color palette specialist. I’m sharing this because I understand that our world is rebirthing itself right now, and it’s messy. So I want today to be a time of healing.
I’m not here to spiritually bypass the uncertainty or pretend it’s not happening. I won’t simply tell you to think positive thoughts or recite affirmations.
What I do want is to help all of us learn to live above the turbulence.
I believe that’s our most powerful way through this time.
This doesn’t mean we don’t act politically or neglect the practical things we need to do to care for ourselves.
What it does mean is that there’s a way to navigate this period that is much more peaceful, healing, and even prosperous. That is my intention for all of us.
Today, in light of the chaos happening around us, that Taylor Swift quote feels more important than ever.
This is a time to remember we are held by a greater being of love—whatever that means to you. This is a time to remember to hold our own inner child who may feel scared.
It’s our inner child that gets frightened. The more we tend to them, rock them, and hold them—holding them until they let us know they’re ready—the more peace and power we have as adults. And when we let our greater being (however you define it: higher self, divine, universe) hold us, we can rest in that eternal embrace.
We forget that the divine is holding us all the time—whether we’re working in our business, meditating, or simply taking a walk. All we have to do is ask for help. So for now, we hold that inner child as our greater self holds us, and we all relax into peace.
- You are safe.
- You are held.
- You are protected.
- You are light.
- You are magic.
And your magic is what the world has come to receive from you. Your magic is the medicine the world needs, in whatever form it takes.
I’m hugging you tight right now.
With love,
Anne
